Grammy Awards: Arooj Aftab, a Pakistani singer going to perform in Grammys.

To recognize the outstanding achievements in music industry and paying tribute to legends of music industry around the Globe The Recording Academy of the United States presents Grammys Or Grammy Awards.Originally it was called Gramophone Awards as its trophy depicts a gilded gramophone.This award is considered one of the most renowned award out of four major annual American Entertainment awards alongside the Academy Awards (For Films), The Emmy Awards (For Television)and the Tony Awards (For Theater).The first Grammy Award ceremony was held on 04,May 1954. this ceremony was held at two location first one in Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills ,California and the Park Sheraton Hotel in New York City.

Aftab is nominated, once again, in the 'Best Global Music Performance' category for her single Udhero Na at the Grammy Awards. Aftab’s Udhero Na will compete for the Best Global Music Performance Award alongside Matt B and Eddy Kenzo’s Gimme Love, Burna Boy’s Last last, Rocky Dawuni, Blvk H3ro’s Neva Bow Down and Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, NoThe annual event, in which the majority of this year's 91 Grammy Awards category winners will be awarded, will be co-hosted by current Grammy nominee Randy Rainbow. The opening act will be a performance by Blind Boys of Alabama, La Marisoul from La Santa Cecilia, and other surprise performers. Other artists set to perform include current nominees Madison Cunningham, Samara Joy, Anoushka Shankar, and Carlos Vives.

The annual event, in which the majority of this year's 91 Grammy Awards category winners will be awarded, will be co-hosted by current Grammy nominee Randy Rainbow.
